The new 2017 Dura-Haul belt trailer is a 42’ belt agriculture trailer. The nuts and bolts of the Dura-Haul Belt Trailer

The Dura-Haul 42’ belt agriculture trailer measures 42 feet long and 102 inches wide. Side heights are optional at 40 inches or 52 inches with extensions available in 12 inches, 24 inches and 36 inches. The finish is stainless steel with various color options available. The side frame, side wall, and top rail are constructed of stainless steel as well. The side frame and top rail are 11ga stainless steel, and the side wall is 16ga  stainless steel. The king pin settings are optional.

Details on the belt, conveyor and drive components

The trailer conveyor is 88C pintle chains with 2 inch x 1 inch channel cross bars. The rubber flaps are 2-ply 1/8 rubber flaps. Belt sizes are optional at 24 inches, 36 inches, 48 inches and 60 inches. The hydraulic system is a 240 Park hydraulic motor. The control box is a hydraulic/pneumatic controls-all model located on the trailer’s roadside rear. The liners consist of a ¼ inch UHMW plastic floor liner and 3/16 inch HMW plastic sidewall liners. The suspension is air ride suspension. There are eight 8.x 25 x 24.5 wheels, eight 11R24.5 tires, and two 77.5” track 25K axles.

Ladders, lights and such

The trailer features two ladders. One is located at the front of the trailer. The second ladder is located on the roadside of the trailer. The rear door is a top hinge door with a small slide up door at the bottom. The trailer’s landing gear consists of two speed jacks with sand shoes and crank on roadside. The lights are full DOT approved LED lights. The ABS sensor is located on the rear axle. The rear bumper is a 4” x 4” DOT approved model situated under the ride bumper.
