Founded in 1998, Amarillo Trailer Sales and Rentals was established to sell, rent, and service our local Amarillo area customers. In 2001, due to our expanding customer base, we changed our name to Area Trailer Sales and Rentals, but most know us simply as ATSR.

As our customer base has grown, so has our company. We now have 3 locations: Amarillo, Lubbock, and Odessa. Our coverage spans the Texas Panhandle, South Plains, the Permian Basin, and 5 surrounding states. Area Trailer Sales and Rentals has grown into one of the largest trailer dealers in the region.

Our rental fleet has grown from one storage trailer to over 500 different trailer types. Rental trailers are available at all locations. Trailer types include: refrigerated, dry van, belly dump, walking floor, flatbed, drop deck, beavertail, chain, and hopper bottom. We also have bumper pull and gooseneck trailers available for rent. There is something for everyone!

ATSR is proud to have a huge inventory of new and used trailers for sale at all 3 locations. Our list of new trailer manufacturers includes Atoka, Brandt, Dorsey, Dura-Haul, Nuttall, Paisano, Pitts, and Prestige. Our used trailer inventory is ever-changing with different makes and models available.

With a full-service repair facility located at or near each dealership we are able to perform thorough inspections of each trailer in our inventory. These facilities also provide us the ability to truly service what we sell!
